Studio Terrain began as a creative outlet for me, the founder and creative director, in 2016. I was still working full-time in the corporate world and after being laid off a few months later, I put my whole heart into building Studio Terrain. Going back to the corporate sector just wasn’t an option with how much joy I felt for floral artistry and especially building relationships with my clients.
Learning their stories and bringing their visions to life is what kept me going and built Studio Terrain to what it is today.

Hello and welcome from our family! We are Fatima, Youssef, and Ali. Youssef and I have been married for eleven years now and together twelve. We knew from the start that we were meant to be! Ali is four and a half years old and he is our world! He's in the sweetest phase where he is obsessed with construction vehicles and we may have gotten him 50 already...
Aside from Youssef's full time job, he also helps us on the weekends during wedding season when we need some extra muscle. We love to take time away from work by traveling or just hanging out with our little guy.
The 1,800 square foot space in Farmington Hills is not only the space where we house all of the beautiful florals and props we use to design our stunning arrangements, but the space is perfect for hosting client meetings and workshops for other floral artists.
We first got the studio in 2020 and have made it all our own. Having a physical space to work has been a game changer and helps us to deliver even higher quality work to our clients.

Samira is Fatima's sister! We love being able to have family working together in our business. Samira has been Fatima's right hand since the very beginning of Studio Terrain, being so supportive and there whenever she needed her.
When she's not assisting in the studio, Samira is pursuing an education and career in the medical field.
