Fatima is the creativity, brains, and heart behind all things Studio Terrain. She founded Studio Terrain in 2016, as a personal creative outlet, while immersed in the corporate world. After being laid off months later, Fatima decided to dive all-in on her true passions: floral artistry and building meaningful relationships with her clients.
Fatima has spent the last 10 years establishing Studio Terrain as a powerhouse floral design studio which is recognized by its elegant, refined aesthetic. Her experience allows Fatima to bring an editorial eye, and pristine attention from beginning to end. Every event she produces is a work of true story-telling and artistry through her flowers. Her clients are drawn to Studio Terrain for the artistry, meticulous detail, and elevated execution.
When Fatima is away from her studio, she loves to spend time traveling with her sweet son, Ali, and her wonderful husband Joe, as well as indulging in her other favorite passions: reading. Getting away to travel and read is a way that Fatima recharges, coming back ready to imagine up her next best creative work!

Ziko is our wonderful Studio Assistant who helps maintain the flow, organization, and charm of our space. Ziko helps make Studio Terrain’s physical space match the heart of who we are. She ensures everything is organized, tidy, and ready to dive into all of our event production.
On top of all of this, she is a loving mother to her beautiful daughter, Julia. Ziko helps bring warmth and enthusiasm to the Studio Terrain team!
With seven years dedicated to floral design, Madeline is now focusing on her love for the other side of the floral industry: the clients. She has a passion for helping each person work through their visions, whether it’s for a small corporate event, or a dream wedding. She’s enthusiastic about the connections she gets to make with each client, and is eager to bring in her design expertise to help bring every vision to the next level.
Zee is our talented Production Assistant who never misses a beat. She is is our master-packer, logistics-oriented right hand, who always stays on top of even the smallest details to make sure that we are prepped and ready to go for any and all on-site jobs. Zee is always up for a challenge, and her can-do attitude always helps to keep our team motivated and timely.
In addition to keeping our team organized and on track, she is also a mother to her two wonderful sons, Ali and Imad. She keeps us laughing while we get the job done.
Though a Michigan native, Lilly began her floral career in NYC, where she worked in the art field, but unsurprisingly all that concrete & steel compelled her to shift towards something more wild, & commit to the floral designer dream. Her favorite aspect of floral design is bringing to life the client’s vision of beauty, translating their personal aesthetic into a natural collection of color, texture & expression.
When Lilly isn’t flowering, she’s traveling as much as possible. While at home, you can find her reading, gardening, going out for a hike, or just taking it easy with her partner, their two cats & two dogs.
